  Our in-house Creative department and Content Studio is responsible for producing a wide range of content, with an increasing focus on digital, video first assets and activations. We are looking for a talented creative mind who is deadline-driven, highly collaborative and has a deep interest in design, typography, fashion and beauty. The ideal candidate understands how marketing campaigns work, especially in the retail sector, to support out consumer messaging and storytelling.

  You will report to the Art Director and will work collaboratively with the Creative Director and team of Designers. Support in the development and execution of design solutions across a range of global channels – including but not limited to; social media, in-store, digital, print and packaging.

You will be working with global teams based in China. Proficient fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

  WHAT YOU DO:

  OVERALL DESIGN

  Concept and execute content for digital, paid media, social, e-commerce, in-store, OOH, video, print and packaging. This role involves asset creation for T-mall, WeChat, Little Red Book, and TikTok. Familiarity with these platforms is a plus.

  Concept and design unique and meaningful gifting campaigns for key moments, for the China market, in line with brand guidelines.

  Execute creative briefs for business and marketing objectives into ideas that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and engaging within brand expression and standards.

  Effectively present and communicate creative vision.

  Work towards various timelines in a fast-paced environment, while delivering creative that is accurate and consistent.

  DIGITAL

  Design landing pages, banners, and digital ads for desktop and mobile.

  Export assets to all specs and formats needed.

  PACKAGING/PRINT

  Design packaging (primary components and secondary cartons) across a broad range of product families including new product launches and 3D rendering.

  Serve as the design lead to effectively execute packaging across brand guidelines.

  Ensure packaging maintains design aesthetic and provides consumer appeal while incorporating all needed information on pack, including marketing copy and regulatory information.

  Prepare, package and spec files for print with correct dimensions, die-lines, and resolution.

  VIDEO

  Edit and add typography design to video content for Social + Digital Advertising.

  Export and crop videos in different sizes and formats (MP4/GIFs).

  QUALIFICATIONS

  5+ years Graphic Design experience within an in-house, design, or agency setting mandatory.

  Proficient in: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD/Sketch, and After Effects (KeyShot 3D is a plus)

  A refined taste level with expert design and typography skills.

  Ability to take direction from Art Directors and Marketing Exec’s and provide multiple solutions.

  Ability to concept design solutions with limited direction.

  Ability to prioritize with tight deadlines and follow through.

  A self-starter who is motivated to set and achieve goals and takes initiative within the workplace.

  Extremely detail oriented and well organized with strong problem-solving skills.

  Team player with positive “can-do” attitude.

  Strong verbal and written communication.

  An understanding of customer priorities and ability to strive to exceed expectations.

  In-House Creative Team Experience or Agency.

  BFA / BA in Graphic Design or other closely related field preferred.

  Drawing / Illustration and 3D rendering skills a plus.

  Knowledge of packaging & video editing.

  Knowledge of the APAC consumer and design aesthetic is a plus.

  Experience of global beauty retail is a plus.

  Proficient fluency in Mandarin.

  The expected base salary range for this position is $67,000 to $70,000 per year. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

  This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
