Job Description
The Conflict of Interest Review Senior Analyst assists the Manager in the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (CoBC) processes to ensure that the submitted disclosures are thoroughly reviewed using the available resources, establish procedures in providing dynamic reports, and diligently escalate disclosures that impose an actual or potential conflict of interest.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist on the review of CoBC training and policy.
Update the conflict of interest disclosure questionnaire, guidelines, and other related documents.
Validate and vet the information provided on the conflict of interest disclosure questionnaire by liaising with the employees to clarify and obtain more information as appropriate.
Undertake any additional research required using internal and external resources as necessary for the initial review of disclosures.
Assess and escalate any complex or conflicting situations to the second line reviewer.
Monitor and coordinate the completion of the annual and new hire CoBC campaigns on Convercent.
Prepare, update, and reconcile CoBC-related reports.
Accommodate and resolve CoBC-related inquiries, requests, and issues on a timely manner.
Act as the subject matter expert of the Convercent application.
Assist on the administration of the Convercent application and the CoBC SharePoint.
Identify and escalate system issues on a timely manner.
Handle other requests or projects.
Job Requirements / Skills and Competencies:
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Solid technology skills: knowledge of or ability to learn applicable compliance or business systems.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of the regulatory environment in which the Company operates and some understanding of key compliance concepts.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Performs analysis that requires technical and analytical skills.
Performs assigned tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Proficient in MS Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Moderate to advanced training in Power Query and MS Excel including using formulas, macros, and report formatting is strongly preferred.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 3 years of related financial services or compliance experience.Education:
