Summary THIS IS AN ARMY NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TITLE 32 PROJECT COORDINATION SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2589000 and is part of the MI JFHQ Army, Michigan Army National Guard. This is a temporary appointment not to exceed 3 years. Responsibilities THIS IS A TITLE 32 NATIONAL GUARD POSITION THAT REQUIRES MILITARY MEMBERSHIP This is a temporary appointment not to exceed 3 years. Serves as the Project Coordination Specialist responsible for gathering, coordinating and analyzing data, developing plans, reports, providing analysis and recommendations on various one-of-a-kind and non-recurring projects/programs. Applies appropriate management analysis techniques, theories, concepts, and practices to plan, direct, and coordinate command efforts. 1. Analyzes, coordinates and/or performs a variety of special projects/program assignments and studies leading to the resolution of management problems and improvement of operations. 2. Provides management information, advice, and assistance to the State ARNG/ANG Command staff, Directorates or Group Commanders on programs/projects assigned. 3. Serves as a Project Manager for emerging projects assigned to/by the State. 4. Responsible for the work of assigned personnel. Performs the supervisory and managerial responsibilities. 5. Military Grades: E5 - O3 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Months Required: 36 Months Experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions. Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. Education No substitution of education allowed for this position.
