Primary responsibilities include providing technical expertise and supporting Geotechnical staff both within a branch and within a regionHost or attend project meetings with clients and/or ECS staff to help provide technical solutions as requestedResponsibilities may also include mentoring Associate PrincipalsResponsibilities may also include participation in the review committee for candidates who seek Associate Principal designation (Geotechnical)Perform the following at the office and regional levels:Overseeing projectsPerforming technical report reviewsPreparing and reviewing proposalsAssisting with management of the department and P&LBusiness development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactionsAssisting hiring managers to help make staffing decisions.Leading and coaching junior staff membersDue to low barriers between departments, duties may also include performing the tasks above in CMTWhat We're Looking For
Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required12 years of related experience*BOARD ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Candidate must be designated as a Principal as outlined in ECS Senior Technical Staff Policies and Procedures. Associate Principals shall author a technical paper and a corresponding presentation prior to submission for Principal. Detailed information on the prerequisites, allowable exceptions, and the application process can be found in the ECS Senior Technical Staff Policies and Procedures.Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is required in each of the state(s) in which you work.If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.Who We Are
