As a pre-deployment instructor, you will play a critical role in preparing GEOINT personnel for deployment. Pre-deployment training is an essential part of the preparation process, identifying any strengths and gaps in GEOINT capabilities prior to their deployment. The training is designed to ensure that all personnel are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their functions and duties effectively and safely while deployed.
As a pre-deployment instructor at the NGC, you will be responsible for delivering training programs that meet the needs of our GEOINT deployers. In a classroom setting, you will conduct guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, and small-group exercises reflective of their roles abroad. These functions will enhance and reinforce GEOINT analysts’ skillsets ensuring optimal preparedness during deployment. You will work closely with other instructors and subject matter experts to update and maintain training materials that are engaging, informative, and effective. You will also be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
Current TS/SCI Clarance
Bachelor’s Degree: Geography, Geodetic Science, Geospatial Intelligence, Spatial Statistics, or relevant fields
3+ years of instructional experience
Verifiable experience as a Geospatial Analyst within the last 36 months
Knowledge of the principles and applications of imagery interpretation digital image processing systems, collections, and sensor phenomenology
Strong working knowledge of ESRI GIS software and extensions
Database maintenance
