The maintenance worker is responsible for making minor repairs to the building and property.The maintenance worker should have a good base knowledge of tool usage, basic electrical work, and general repair work.This position has a first shift schedule from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday. The schedule may be modified based on project schedules and the needs of the business. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position with an hourly rate of $20.74 per hour.Training on job specific duties and repair will be provided to supplement this base knowledge.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:* Performing office rearrangement using drawing and instructions. This includes measuring spaces accurately, transporting all requiring equipment and materials to and from the job location, and following all directions.* Unloading trailers, assembles, and delivers furniture according to work requests* Repairs floors, cabinets, doors, locks, hardware, broken windows, and replacing ceiling tiles* Installing new carpet, tile floors, and repairs concrete flooring. Repairs may be done on all types of flooring so thorough training on installation, adhesives, grouting, and floor finishes will be necessary.* May perform emergency roof repair work. This may include working in high and/or working in inclement weather.
