Responsibilities of this position include, but are notlimited to the following: * Pack bread presented by Auto Stacker *Using tool to unjam stacking equipment * Stack Pita bread (1st stack)* Put plastic bags on bread trays * Place 2nd stack of pitas in bags* Move empty bread trays * Push stack bread trays to cure area * Workin various stations including monitoring and cutting sheeted dough fromsheeter. * General housekeeping as needed * Fill flour dustingstations as needed * Flour sifting operations * Feed pitas into theauto slicers * Feed pitas into the splitters * Mix seasoning as needed* Maintain bread feeding rate necessary to maximize line throughput *Perform sensory quality control checks to verify appearance code date,seal and case * Pack and fold cartons close cartons and stack them on apallet for transfer * Operating semi automated packaging equipmentincluding being able to read a computer screen, resetting quipment afterjams, and performing simple troubleshooting tasks to keep the linerunning Operate GUACP and associated tasks (clear faults, load cartons,change tape) Setup labelers and tape machines * May be required toclean using chemicals and protective gear * Break Relief as Assigned *Other duties as assigned * Overtime may be required * CompleteChangeovers as Assigned * Train new Team Members to role SkillRequirements: * Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs from floor towaist. * Capable of learning the function of different machines. *Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, leads andResources. * Ability to work in dusty (flour) conditions with properprotective gear. * Must be capable of reading and writing in English *Must have basic math skills * May be exposed to potential allergens(flour, etc.) * Must be able to work safely in potentially slipperyconditions * Must have the ability to stand for extended periods oftime * Must be capable of climbing ladders and/or stairs * Must beable to successfully complete and apply all required compliancetrainings (Safety, Environmental and Quality) The General UtilityTechnician is a position that is responsible for general labor in andaround the manufacturing plant and warehouse. The weekly work hours aregenerally 40+ hours per week. Work hours can be variable and usuallyinvolve working nights and weekends. Holiday work is required. Theindividual must have the ability to lift 70 pounds safely, be capable ofstanding, bending, and lifting for up to 12 hours per day, see (nearacuity and far acuity) climb stairs often, and manage multiple taskssimultaneously. Responsibilities include: work, maintain generalhousekeeping and sanitation, move parts, packing, general light utilitywork, and other duties as assigned.
