　　What You'll Do:

　　The Sous Chef is responsible for planning and directing food preparation in the kitchen. This involves leading staff as well monitoring daily kitchen operations. Supervises all areas to ensure a consistent, high-quality product is produced, while maintaining the operating budget. The ideal candidate will also understand how to manage staff in a positive manor, leading as a teacher. Reports to Executive Chef. Housing assistance may be available .

　　Position starts at $58,000 + DOE.

　　Duties/Responsibilities:

　　Manages kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures.

　　Estimates daily production needs on a weekly basis and communicates production needs to kitchen personnel daily.

　　Prepares and cooks a variety of foods and adjusts based on business demands.

　　Assists with purchasing, receiving and food storage standards.

　　Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.

　　Assists with administrative duties as needed including scheduling, timecards, budgets, staffing, etc.

　　Manages staff performance and develops employees.

　　What You'll Bring:

　　4+ years experience in culinary, food & beverage, or related professional area or graduate of an associate or higher culinary school.

　　1+ years supervisory/management experience.
