Beyond that, you are responsible for achieving your individual sales goals and contributing to the store's sales goals while maintaining S&B's merchandising and housekeeping standards.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESProvide excellent customer service according to S&B standards on the selling floor, in the fitting room, and at the cash wrapActively work with garments, including receiving, ticketing, stocking, and merchandising, per S&B guidelinesRing sales on the register, receive and process cash and credit payment, issue receipts and pack merchandise for our customersOpen and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting cash, processing charge slips, coupons, balancing cash drawers, and making depositsAdditional specific skills are required for individual positions.SKILL SETExcellent customer service skills are essentialCommitment to a flexible scheduleMath competency to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentagesBasic computer skillsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PROFILE:Must be at least 18 years of ageA high school diploma or G.E.D. is essential, Associate degree is preferred, along with 6 months - 2 years of retail experienceThe physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
