DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will provide technical real property appraisals on all types of properties of varying complexities, including agricultural, industrial, commercial, residential, or special purpose properties, for the acquisition of right-of-way for highway improvement projects. You will perform technical work involving development of certified appraisals and acquisition of real estate property for public use, as well as perform real property appraisals, including determination of compensable elements of damage and estimates of damage.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.This position has the option to be headquartered in the district or county office closest to the selected candidate's home, subject to available office space.If the selected candidate lives in Dauphin county, they will be headquartered and assigned office space in the Keystone Building.*Telework: *You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 50%. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in the assigned location.Salary:* *In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Necessary Special Requirements:
Position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Certified General Real Estate Appraiser certification. Position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
