Our facility in Windsor, CT has hiring needs for coating and slitting operators.

　　Schedule: 6pm-6am Monday-Thursday

　　Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 (Not including differential)

　　Please see job duties below:

　　· Operation generally involves the loading of a jumbo roll onto unwind, adjusting machine components for the specific product, slitting, and rewinding continuous strips of adhesive product onto core

　　· Obtains work orders from the supervisor, as required Labeling of product and cartons

　　· Packing of product into or onto the correct corrugate packaging.

　　· Responsible for the timely production of quality products in accordance with established standards.

　　· Ensures that all aspects of the operation perform in accordance with ISO Procedures.

　　· Acquires material specified in the work order BOM Loading of jumbo onto the unwind General set up of the specified equipment to the specified product being manufactured

　　· Prior to start up performs required safety checks and inspection

　　· Documents all required information of the work following established inventory procedures and oversees proper documentation for the work cell

　　· Required to efficiently produce all types of adhesive products Inspects finished product for defects and sets aside scrap

　　· Performs minor maintenance duties and repairs, as required Responsible for cell housekeeping and assists with general department housekeeping, as required Promotes teamwork.

　　· Facility is a global supplier of bonding solutions and manufacturer of adhesive-based products for the Healthcare and Industrial markets.

　　Additional Skills & Qualification:

　　· Proven ability to work as a team within a diverse workforce in a manufacturing environment.

　　· Culture is huge so candidate must have a good attitude, show up everyday, and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment)

　　· Ideal candidate would have at least 6 months of operating experience

　　· If candidate doesn't have previous operating experience then mechanical skills are a must

　　· Must have basic mathematical skills

　　· Slitting experience is preferred

　　· Must be comfortable standing for long periods of times

　　· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

　　· Must have strong attention to detail
