Role and Responsibilities:As a Senior Automation Tester with MTSI, your development activities at theCyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework(SAFe). SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, andcompetencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale.Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates theintegration of security at every phase of the software development lifecyclefrom initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, andsoftware delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployabledefensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF missionsyste
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Analyze test results and coordinate with the development teams for bug fixes.Analyze the underlying causes of performance issues and provide correctiveaction. Develop an automated test scenario and environment for performancetesting. Review and recommend improvements in existing test procedures.Coordination with the testing team to develop performance test plans andcases. Must be able to use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETEetc. Must be able to validate xml and json body using json parser. Know how touse the OAuth and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms. Must be able to Load andSecurity testing on web services. Designing and developing test automationscripts to create, enhance, debug, and run test ca es. Using testautomation guidelines. Researching issues in software through testing tovalidate feedback, response time, & error code.Qualifications
Required skills:Programming Languages (at least 2):Java, Angular, Gitlab, RHEL, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr & PythonExperience or knowledge in the following areas:Agile methodologies, agile project management, software development lifecycle management, program/project management, cross-functional team,agile software testing, test-driven development, software test planning,software test automationDesired skills/experience:
Familiarity & knowledge:SIMP Project, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL),Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQLRelevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems CommandExperience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program officeEducation/CertificationMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, datascience, software development or STEM related specialty and 10 years'releated professional experience; Or Master's degree in computerscience, software engineering, data science, software development, orSTEM related specialty and 8 years' related professional experience.SAFe for Teams, ISTQB Test Automation Engineer, Agile Technical Tester,& Implementing Test Process Improvement certifications within 12 months of
