CoreResponsibilities Production employees at Smithfield handle materials anduse hand tools, knives, machinery, and equipment to help deliver goodfood responsibly to America\'s dinner table. Production team members atSmithfield perform physically demanding work that requires good hand-eyecoordination, attention to detail, strength and stamina. Team membersmust be available to work scheduled hours, which may include mandatoryovertime, depending upon production demands.
