Needs are:1x- Day Shift- GL/Forklift/Skid Steer Operators1x- Night Shift- GL/Forklift/Skid Steer Operators
Hours Are: Monday- FridayDay Shift- 7a - 4pNight Shift- 8p - 6a
Core Functions/Duties Performed80% of your time:- Sort scrap to upgrade and remove nonconforming items- Sort scrap into the appropriate commodities- Ensure packages meet customer specifications- Upgrade materials where possible- Clean the workstation at the end of the shift
Less than 10% of your time:Perform maintenance as needed and report any failing parts- Ensure all equipment, including Personal Protective Equipment is in good workingcondition.- Fill out daily preventative maintenance checklist.- Contact maintenance or supervisor when equipment needs repaired.- Report Fraudulent Activity- Report all accidents and injuries immediately- Abide by employee handbook- Commitment to safety through actions and behaviors is expected- Regular and timely attendance is essential

Specific Demands:- Work safely in a manufacturing environment that utilizes audible alarms and signals- Effectively communicate using radios and telephones in manufacturing environment- Demonstrate visual recognition of workplace hazards- Read and comprehend labels and MSDS sheets.- Work in high elevations and in enclosed spaces with proper permitting and PPE- Work in seasonal conditions (rain/snow, hot/cold weather)- Effective communication skills- Good judgmental skills- Basic knowledge of scrap grades- High school education or equivalent- Ability to operate forklift, skid steer, and/or other heavy machinery- Basic knowledge of scrap grades- High school education or equivalent- Ability to operate forklift, skid steer, and/or other heavy machinery
* Exposure Issues: Works outside in various weather conditions and be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and high noise levels *
