JOBSUMMARY: AMPI is immediately hiring for General Labor. The primary roleof General Labor is to safely follow all production and qualitystandards, while assembling 640 cheese blocks. This job will monitordifferent positions throughout cheese packaging floor, these positionsinclude but not limited to making blocks, filling block, pushing blocks,closing and sealing blocks, and once trained putting blocks away in thecooler. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties andresponsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to includeother duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary fromtime to time. All AMPI employees have an obligation to report employeesafety, food safety and food quality issues to personnel of authority.This position has a heightened food safety and food qualityresponsibilities. Assemble carts and place cheesecloth and liners intoboxes. Carts and pans need to be thoroughly rinsed in order to removeany soil/debris prior being placed in the bottom washer. Clean andsanitize and all carts and pans. Inspect and re-clean and sanitize ifany soil or debris is located. Load and unload carts into a vacuumchamber and monitor the chamber to ensure proper vacuum pressure andtime is met according to the specification. Seal the blocks. Inspect,weigh, and tag carts. Maintain good housekeeping and cleanup ofequipment, keeping work areas organized. Maintain proper documentationin all formats of recordkeeping Adhere to all aspects of company andcustomer safety, sanitation and site policies. Once experience is gain,assists with training new employees. Provides assistance to themaintenance personnel, when needed, for machine repairs ortroubleshooting. Adhere to all Quality and Food Safety policies andprocedures, reporting any nonconformity. Adhere to all Safety policiesand procedures, reporting any nonconformity. Adhere to all GMP policiesand procedures, reporting any nonconformity.
