　　Spokane Community College is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of General Business Faculty Instructor in the SCC Business/Legal Studies Department.

　　CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Prepares for and instructs, through traditional classroom and distance education modes, classes in the discipline of general business. Examples of the types of courses typically assigned include Business Statistics, Economics, Management Information Systems in Business, and Introduction to Business. 

　　Works as part of a business faculty team to update curriculum to respond to community needs.

　　Provides availability and accessibility to students for purpose of academic consulting and support, in a manner appropriate to meet student needs, through a combination of scheduled office hours, e-mail accessibility or other effective means of responsive and timely communication.
