The Role

As a Lead Strategic Finance Analyst, you will assist with financial modeling, special projects and provide support for all other corporate finance matters. You will contribute to the team's ability to be the trusted financial advisors of the company by analyzing financial results, preparing projections, and performing research and special analysis as required by leadership.

The Main Responsibilities

Support the team by updating forecast models to enable fact-based decision making by Executive management

Assist with analysis and monitoring of the overall business to understand performance vs. expectations and trends with detailed variance analysis across the entire company for Revenue through Free Cash Flow, highlighting risks and opportunities to near-term and long-range plans

Learn data systems and regularly pull data/reports to verify for completeness and accuracy

Develop best way to present data and analysis by creating charts and other materials for presentations

Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support for the VP of Corporate Finance

Create an informal network across the organization to speed business trend discovery and strategy execution

Support other company projects including MA, Divestitures, Valuation, Impairment and proforma analysis

What We Look For in a Candidate

4+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Planning Analysis, Investment banking or Corporate development

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration; an MBA preferred

Strong quantitative skills with experience in financial modeling and complex analysis

Disciplined and detail-oriented individual that can learn quickly

Self-starter with the ability to execute on assignments with limited supervision

Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint

Effective problem-solving skills with strong understanding of corporate finance principles

Team player with a humble and positive attitude

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$80510 - $107340 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$84740 - $112980 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$88980 - $118630 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$93210 - $124280 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
