　　Position Summary:

　　Oversee all technical service needs, organize and plan work, supervise and train the needs and staff of the Great Bear Distribution Center, and participate in strategic planning for staffing and project needs for sites at MKC.

　　Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

　　40% Assign, schedule, prioritize and help in the execution of site work assignments. Ensure that tasks are completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner.

　　20% Ensure proper training from a skill and safety standpoint for all maintenance technicians, custodians, and housekeeping staff.

　　10% Responsible for coordinating facility-related tasks in relation to company events such as our Barn and/or Warehouse Sales.

　　10% Troubleshoot, repair HVAC, manufacturing equipment, utilities, interior and exterior lighting, as well as any departmental issues.

　　10% Administrative tasks to support work task system (FMX) as well as Paycom for payroll and NetSuite for any open PO's documentation.

　　5% Participate in energy reduction, electric and gas and assessments and support water quality testing for the site to help reduce overall cost and consumption.

　　5% Assist management with offsite leased property when needed.

　　Supervisory Responsibilities:

　　This position supervises the Maintenance, Custodial, Housekeeping and vendor/contractor staff in coordination with the Facilities Manager/Director and Site Director of Warehouse Operations. Responsibilities include interviewing and making hiring recommendations; instructing and training on proper work methods, and assigning, planning, and scheduling work; as well as conducting performance evaluations.

　　Qualifications

　　Education and Experience:

　　High School Diploma required.Vocational or Technical training (HVAC/R) required.EPA Section 608 desired3 to 5 years of supervisory experience with a diverse team and skillset required.More than 5 years of experience in a similar position required.

　　Special Requirements:

　　Driver's LicenseAbility to work evenings and weekends as needed.Support of yearly company special events (Barn Sale, Artisan Festival and Warehouse Sales)

　　Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

　　Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.Ability to train and supervise a team while maintaining balance of accountability and engagement to ensure retention.

　　Equipment Used:

　　Computer, printer, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner, calculator, hand tools, power tools, forklift, pallet jack and grinder.

　　Computer Software: (Basic) - Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, NetSuite and MKC CMMS

　　Safety: Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes, Gloves and ability to pass a physical exam for a respirator

　　Physical and Mental Requirements:

　　Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.High mental and visual attention required for planning difficult work methods and sequences to obtain size, shape, or physical qualities of product.Exerts more than 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

　　Environmental Conditions:

　　The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions including temperature changes, noise, and moving mechanical parts.
