　　Job Description

　　We are recruiting for a Fund Accountant to join our accounting team to support the fund and joint venture accounting needs across our real estate portfolio. The fund accounting team works across departments throughout the organization and will liaise with both internal and external partners. This position will work collaboratively with the accounting, investments and investor relations teams.

　　Job summary

　　• Responsible for maintaining general ledger for all property and investor related entities.

　　• Perform a detailed review of property level financial statements and monthly reporting packages received from 3rd party managers and record adjustments to fair value basis of accounting as needed.

　　• Maintain investor records for contributions, distributions and calculating interest dividends owed from the Funds.

　　• Monitor investor level bank accounts and record financial activity to the general ledger.

　　• Consolidate property and investor level financial activity; participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and supplemental financial reporting.

　　• Prepare acquisition, disposition, recapitalization and/or refinance entries at the fund level.

　　• Prepare and submit documents required for lender reporting.

　　• Assist the Corporate Accounting and Asset Management teams with cash analyses and projections to determine cash needs or cash availability for distribution.

　　• Work directly with independent auditors to complete year end audits and tax filings.

　　• Work with Finance team with the portfolio model updates.

　　Requirements

　　Job Requirements:

　　• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred

　　• 2+ years of experience; public accounting and fair value accounting experience a plus
