Essential Functions:
Review Army IA policy and doctrine for compliance with OSD and Joint Staff policy and guidance.
Participate in OSD and Joint Staff discussions regarding policy and guidance on operations in the information environment and integration of information advantage activities.
Participate in the development of DoD and Joint DOTLMPF-P
Conduct studies and analyses of Army, Joint and DoD IO policy, plans, training and education.
Provide research, analysis and written recommendations on emerging concepts (e.g., Capability Based Assessments, Regionally Aligned Forces, Army IA Strategy and DoD IO Strategy).
Review Army IA policy and doctrine for compliance with OSD and Joint Staff policy and guidance.
Prepare updates to ADP 3-13 and AR 525-20 (Information Operations).
Support the development of briefings, information/decision papers, policy documents, staffing packages, EXORDS, letters, memorandums and official multimedia correspondence.
Required Skills & Experience:
Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to work within Government-provided software packages with emphasis on MS Office products, for example, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
Must be able to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication.
Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
Experience working in headquarters environments on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands.
Proficient in planning and execution of working groups.
Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to monitor database performance and maintain database operation.
Required Clearance:
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/ SCI eligibilityQualifications:
Master’s degree required.
At least ten (10) years relevant experience.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. While not generally authorized, telework may be required due to exceptional circumstances (extreme weather, pandemic, etc.).
