　　What You’ll do on a Typical Day:

　　Design, Code and implement solutions from concept to final hand-off to customers

　　Estimate technical effort, work breakdown structure, risks and dependencies

　　Optimize APIs for maximum performance, reliability and scalability

　　Analyze and resolve technical and application problems

　　Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

　　Contribute to and work with fellow engineers, designers and other partners to develop and maintain application

　　Collaborate with other engineers, participate in code review, and contribute in design review

　　Experiment with new and emerging technologies

　　What We’re looking for:

　　Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

　　5 years in-depth experience in Java/J2EE, Java8+, React JS, Node JS, multithreading, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA, JUnit, Mocking Frameworks, TDD

　　Strong experience in designing, building and maintaining RESTful APIs

　　Strong experience in a microservices framework

　　Strong experience in data structures, algorithms and design patterns

　　Experience in ReactJS and the ecosystem around it, debugging, building and manipulating DOMs (desired)

　　Experience with throughput batch processing and streaming systems (Kafka, Spark)

　　Experience in SQL (MS SQL, Postgres) databases and No-SQL (Cassandra)

　　Experience in Cloud technologies like Containers, Kubernetes, Docker

　　Experience in continuous integration, deployment, production monitoring, and zero downtime systems

　　Experience in AWS is a plus

　　Knowledge in the Travel industry is a plus

　　Team player with a curious mindset willing to take on new challenges

　　Fluent in English
