Overview: Egan Company is seeking Security Technicians for customer opportunities around the Greater Twin Cities area. This is a union position with top-rate wages, healthcare, retirement and vacation benefits. Responsibilities: The basic responsibilities of the Security Technician include but are not limited to the following: Installation, service, or repair of specified Access, Security, and CCTV systems and peripheral devices Programming various security systems - Lenel, S2, Sielox, Bosch experience is a plus Assist with the start-up and commissioning of new equipment or system installation Overcome challenges on retrofits and new installations Train and instruct new users on a life safety equipment Daily communication with the Project Manager Completion of daily safety and additional documents Position Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Experience installing and programming Fire Alarm Systems Valid MN Power Limited Technician license.
