Description

Robert Half has a new direct-hire opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the Baltimore, MD area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general and operational accounting duties. This position will give you the opportunity to grow your accounting knowledge and experience. This is a direct-hire position with full-benefits.

Essential Functions

Reconcile bank accounts monthly; verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks

Help with all operational accounting, including accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare journal entries

Assist with month-end close responsibilities

Bank reconciliations

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

Reporting for anything finance and accounting related

Requirements

Qualifications

1-3 years' of experience working in Accounting

General accounting understanding

Knowledge of AP/AR

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly detail-oriented
