　　About the Role

　　Our design team is 1 Product Designer, 2 Design Engineers, 2 Brand Designers, and 1 Head of Design. We're all seasoned generalists with strong expertise in our given areas.

　　At Modern Treasury, Design Engineers solve complex Product Design problems with Engineering skills. This is a unique role with a mandate to support efforts around quality and craft, improve design systems and tools, and help launch 0-1 product concepts.

　　Your responsibilities will include:Critical Feature Development: Take a hands-on approach to writing clean, efficient production code for high-priority projects, significantly impacting our user experience.Design Leadership: Prototype new products, features, and interface experiments to drive discussions across product, design, and engineering.Systems Ownership: Build and steward our design system, used by a team of 70+ engineers. You will flex a systems-first mindset to deliver impact using Storybook or internally created tools.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Engineers, our Frontend Working Group, and Designers. You display strong knowledge of well-structured technical documentation and are able to write solid documentation when needed.Team growth: Contribute to Design's trajectory as an organization. We will be growing during your tenure– you will be a critical voice in who and how we hire and the projects we tackle.Who we're looking forSeasoned Technologist: With a solid +5 year track record developing web interfaces and design systems, your expertise spans HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Figma, Storybook, and more.
