　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities

　　Obtain and inspect pieces of wood to be used for frame build process.

　　Turn, grasp board(s), and place boards in holding fixture.

　　Repeat the motions for the boards required to complete the frames.

　　Pick up air driven nailing gun (approximately 10lbs. in weight) with one hand, and nails boards together while walking around the table. While using the other hand to make final positioning of the boards.

　　Inspect assembled frames for structural defects, and repairs as needed.

　　Pick up frame, carry and stack on finished frame pile

　　Cut steel bands around bundle of lumber

　　Reload nail gun as needed and changes locators on table to accommodate different size frames

　　Move carts of finished frames to appropriate areas

　　Perform all related duties of the frame build function according to established safety and efficiency procedures.

　　Maintain workstation in a neat, clean and orderly fashion

　　Operate band saw to cut lumber for special sizes as needed

　　Perform functions in other areas of the Plant as requested

　　Perform related duties as assigned

　　Functional/Technical Competencies

　　Good eye/hand coordination

　　Prior assembly or manufacturing experience

　　Experience/Education

　　Basic ability to read, write and understand English

　　Basic ability to read/use ruler, add subtract and calculate fractions

　　Must be at least 18 years of age

　　Job Factors/Work Environments

　　The job is highly repetitious and involves regular lifting of materials (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis.

　　Work involves occasional moving of heavy rolls of materials and exposure to usual hazards found in a manufacturing environment.
