Responsible for New Model Program launch key specific activities in FTM. Lead and work with the cross-functional team (PD, PD Program, Plant Launch, STA, VOME, MP&L, Program Finance, and Plant Quality) on implementation of assigned LQOS for all program launches. Work with the NMP Launch Manager on delivering targets.
PVBR: Lead in the development of pre-launch vehicle lineup for launch budget planning. Collaborate with VOCF, Engineering and Plant in consolidating their respective vehicle requirements.
Build Plan: Lead in the development of plant build cadence including sequence and timing to ensure timely vehicle delivery to respective unit owners.
Pre-production parts Sign-off: Work with the cross-functional team on parts lay-out and review prior to each build phase (TT, PP, and MP1) to ensure correct level and quality parts are used. Report status as required.
Part Shortage Process: Assist MP&L team on parts readiness and tracking. Provide associated alerts and PPAP status per OTG and alert process inputs.
Daily Start-up: Provide key agenda for discussion/follow-up associated with the parts, material readiness and supportability.
AIMS: Participate in daily AIMs meeting, support team with investigation as required.
Control Plans: Participate in various control plan activities ensuring the events are conducted per plan. Supports issue binning and discussion.
OSM: Work with the Plant Launch and Quality teams on tracking, identifying affected vehicles, Alerts review and approvals, draw-down plan generation, and implementation of all On-Site Modifications. Record all updates and documentation on the OSM database.
Lesson Learned: Participate on Post Launch lesson learned reviews associated to OSM processes. Ensure all documentations including G8D are available.
Support the following meeting and activities as required:
FCPA/Fresh Eyes Review/Whiteboard: Support on issue binning and identify parts/materials related issues and assist on resolutions as required.
Colour and Grain Review: Work with the Design Quality team on review of parts and vehicle level color and AAR approvals. Incorporate vehicles availability on the day-by-day build plan.
Build Reviews: Provide status updates and clarification on related questions if required.
Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
4-6 years of work experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
New model program launch with extensive knowledge (or equivalent) on LQOS (Launch Quality Operating System).
New Model Launch with backgrounds on program management, PD, STA and VOME is a plus.
Strong technical and analytical skills. People skills.
Good English command (oral and written). Ability to relate to all levels of organization. Can work and deliver results under pressure.
Skill sets on GPDS, WERS, GEMMS, CMMS, PPAP process, Quality Tools, & problem solving methods. Knowledge on MS office.
