Forklift Operator - second shift - FORKL005716

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:* Maintain daily log and assigned checklist of assigned forklift.* Perform routine driver's check on fluid levels and general condition of forklift.* Load/unload or stage materials as needed to assure production flow.* Operate a forklift in a safe manner.* Complete material requisitions as required.* Accurately enter time and labor reporting daily.* Work safely and maintain a clean work area.* H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.* 1 year experience in a manufacturing position.* Must obtain forklift operator's authorization (company training provided).* Basic knowledge of manufacturing orders, parts and raw materials.* Ability to follow clearly defined work instructions and work independently.* Ability to sit for approximately 10 hours per day.* Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. approximately 3-5 times per hour.* Ability to lift 85 lbs to change propane tank on forklift 1-2 times per day.
