Position: Maintenance Technician
Experience: 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
Pay: $30/hr starting pay rate not including $1/hr Shift Premium with room for growth.
Shifts: Openings on Day and Night Shift. 12 hour / 2-2-3 schedule - Every other weekend off. Working 15 days per month.
Day Shift: 6:45am to 7:15pm
Night Shift: 6:45pm to 7:15am

Who Are We?
Our Florence, Kentucky distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, and motorcycles. We have been here since 2007 and now employ more than 285 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and received the United Way Campaign Excellence Award annually since 2015. Our employees also support the American Heart Association.
What you will be doing as a Maintenance Technician
Emphasis on safe work practices, adherence to LOTO procedures and use of PPE.
Troubleshooting and repairing of machinery, conveyors, and robotics.
Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Cooperation with others toward achieving team and departmental goals
Must have knowledge of 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits
Experience with conveyors, electronics, PLC hardware and ladder logic required.
Understanding of motor control circuitry (VFDs, soft starts etc.) required
May be required to set up and operate one or all of the following machines: lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, power saws, etc.
Must be able to read schematics and blueprints.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Perform preventive maintenance to assure maximum equipment functionality.
Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 year(s) maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Mechanical skills and electrical repair knowledge.
Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical experience.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Must have PLC troubleshooting experience (preferably AllenBradley experience).
Must be able to work all shifts up to 12 hours and occasional overtime.
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions due to limited space.
Agility to climb ladders to perform repairs.
