  Summary:

  The Foreign Object Debris Coordinator will support and lead the Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevent program at HMI to ensure the highest quality products are delivered to our customers. As a member of the Homogenous Metals, Inc.(HMI) team, you will be a key member of a dynamic team responsible for manufacturing and delivering high temperature super alloy billet and plasma spray powders for use in the aerospace industry, both defense and commercial.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Drive a culture of reducing FOD throughout the different processes and areas across the site

  Coordination of FOD reducing projects and initiatives aimed at improving the quality signature of HMI

  Partner with operations, facilities, maintenance, and quality to lead cross-functional teams to develop robust solutions; be the site FOD Focal, representing HMI on the PW FOD Council and leading HMI’s FOD Council

  Generate, maintain, and provide FOD metrics to leadership and oversee FOD improvement projects

  Work with, coach, motivate, and influence others; work independently while delivering on expectations; support off-shift activities as needed

  Minimal, infrequent travel may be required as needed

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, statistics, operations, process improvement, supply chain, or similar industrial environment or an Associate's degree and minimum 4 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, statistics, operations, process improvement, supply chain, or similar industrial environment

  US. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Raytheon Technologies (RTX) CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) Apprentice Certification or 3 or more years of working experience in lean, continuous improvement, or operations

  Experience with FOD programs or initiatives

  Project management experience or certification

  Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

  Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

  The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
