　　Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a High School Assistant Football Coach at East High School for the2024-2025 school year.Job Summary:To instruct participants in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary to realize a high degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the student athlete shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulization and internalization of pride of accomplishment, self- discipline, self-confidence, and sportsmanship. Assist the Head Coach in the alignment and implementation of systems and skill development regarding the athletic program.Successful candidates for this position will possess:Valid IA Coaching Endorsement or Coaching AuthorizationPlease see attached job descripton for further information on functions of the position along with educational and experience requirements.

　　Stipend for this position: $4,704 - for 2023-2024 school year (2024-2025 stipend amount to be determined)Stipend amounts are based on a percentage of the base salary negotiated by DMEA.
