The Senior Manager, Compensation, develops, implements and administers compensation such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, performance appraisals, salary increases and salary surveys. May provide services in Executive Compensation, Corporate Compensation, Sales Compensation and other specialized areas of compensation. You will report to the compensation director.
Compensation Minimum:$109,000 / year
Compensation Maximum:$186,000/ year

Primary Accountabilities
Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and fostering trust, transparency, and inclusion. Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support on-going development.
You will oversee the research, design, development, implementation, and support a comprehensive employee compensation program, ensuring alignment with each business` objectives, overall organization values and balancing market conditions, internal equity and long-term vision.
Monitor and analyze trending information, economic and wage projections to ensure the organization`s compensation objectives and competitive market position are responsive to business needs.
Establish a job structure for positions to include accurate job definition, internal valuing process and market data for benchmarking pay.
Monitor and understand the competitive landscape for compensation practices and advise leadership. Work with internal division leaders to address important issues.
Monitor the effectiveness of compensation procedures and recommend revisions/enhancements which are consistent with compensation trends/best practices and business objectives.
Manage the annual salary and incentive planning process for employees; ensure accuracy, optimum level of automation, and teamwork with all internal partners.
Ensure that compensation programs and administration meet legal requirements. Keep apprised of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
Oversee compensation offerings for the company`s Board of Directors.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of location and will be considered based upon the needs of the role.
Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location (or 35-mile radius for Boston).
