Summary This position is located at Shenanigan's at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) on the island of Kaua'i. The purpose of this position is to prepare and cook quality food to order that require a short preparation time. * Must reside on the island of Kaua'i * Responsibilities Reads food order slip or received verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepares and cooks food according to instructions. Prepares grill items and sandwiches. Prepares salads and slices meats and cheese, using slicing machine. Cleans work area and food preparation equipment. May prepare beverages. May serve meals to patrons over counter. Medium work requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demands requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Work is conducted indoors, in well-lighted and ventilated kitchen. Exposed to steam, fumes, odors, extremes in temperature, noise with the personal risk for falling, burns or cuts.
