Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to Th Hub at Peterson Space Force Base located in Colorado Springs. This position may require shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push pull, and bend for long periods of time. Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: As directed by Hub management, dispenses food from buffet lines including steam tables. Loads and operates dishwashers, or equivalent process. Returns sanitized dishes, glasses, and silverware to the appropriate area. Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, and silverware. May be required to vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Washes tables, counters, and other surfaces that do not exceed 100° F. Collects plates, silverware, glasses, and trays from tables and event areas when meals are finished. Removes trash and cardboard boxes. May be required to clean trashcans and replace trash bags. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
