  Legends is a proud hospitality partner of Winstar Casino, the worlds largest casino. The partnership includes overseeing multiple food and beverage outlets including restaurants, a café, resort pool, room service, and a premier music venue.

  THE ROLE

  The position reports to the General Manager. The Food and Beverage Director will have a tremendous amount of interaction and personal involvement with her/his clients, and as such must always represent Legends Hospitality in a professional, gracious, and knowledgeable manner.

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  Utilize initiative and independent judgment closely with the General Manager in planning, directing and managing the day-to-day operations of the venue.

  Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality food and customer service.

  Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs

  Maintain professional image throughout all outlets including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards. Manage safety audits, oversees health code compliance and issues

  Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness

  Maintain financial records related to the operation of the department and meet required deadlines for reporting to the accounting department.

  Maintain open communications and professional relationships with all the Legends departments which you support as well as Venue staff

  QUALIFICATIONS

  To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7-10 years management experience in the contract foodservice industry, preferably in the casino industry.

  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.

  Previous P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience preferred.

  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and POS Systems is required.

  Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills.

  Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
