Machining duties done in cell environment where machine tools are grouped to optimize productivity.Key Job Responsibilities(1) Check router, verify revisions on all part drawings and CNC programs.(2) Set up the machines per the set-up sheet (plus testers).(3) Run the part to the part drawings specifications. Edit speeds and feeds as needed, and program as needed.(4) Set all necessary gages and inspect and ensure parts are to print. Document as required.5(5) Make out a move ticket to send the part to the next operation. Move parts as necessary.(6) Obeys all safety rules, wears proper PPE, and performs housekeeping functions.(7) Refer to Best Practices manual for further direction.(8) Perform all daily TPM activities as required.(9) Assist engineers and supervision to make improvements to parts, methods, fixturing and workplace organization for continuous improvement.Qualifications/RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GEDPrevious experience with Manual machines and CNCAdditional InformationKomatsu is an Equal Opportunity Workplace and an Affirmative Action Employer.
