Hiring Range: $15.70 - $20.00/hr. ( The anticipated starting salary pay range of $15.70 - $20.00/hr is based on minimum requirements for this position. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent). The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)

RSI EnTech, LLC is recruiting for a Fleet Operations Technician who will help the Fleet Manager with fleet responsibilities overall yet more specific to the fleet at the LMFSC in Grand Junction, CO. Fleet Operations Technicians help the Fleet Manager of the Legacy Management Support Contract (LMS) Fleet Management Program including policies & procedures development and update, acquisition & disposals, dispatching, preventive/corrective maintenance plans and activities, infrastructure, training, communication, budgets, telematics analysis, accident/incident investigations, billing/invoicing, and safety for all vehicles at all sites within LM. The Fleet Operations Technician is responsible for directing the activities specific to the LMFSC Grand Junction, CO site and to support other occupied sites across the country that support the LM mission. This position requires up to 20% travel and coordination with the client on programmatic direction. The overarching requirement is to provide the smallest right type of vehicle to accomplish the mission and meet federal vehicle mandates.
Primary responsibilities and essential functions:
Tagging and tracking of accountable government property.
Data entry and inventory processing in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
Help the LMFSC Facilities with office moves and Emergency Management requirements for Facilities.
Ensure maintenance is addressed via a preventive action program that identifies issues before they become systemic failures.
Supervises the proper dispatching of our pooled and sub-pooled vehicle fleet for each of the occupied sites.
Deliver and retrieve GSA vehicles for preventative maintenance and regular service.
Perform vehicle inspections.
Assure that all GSA pooled vehicles are regularly cleaned, and deficiencies are corrected.
Support the personal property Accountable Property Representative (APR).
Other duties as assigned.
Work experience, skills, and capabilities needed :
Proficient communication skills.
Ability to digest and represent large amounts of data accurately and completely to provide credible information to the DOE client.
Understanding of vehicle construction and maintenance and ability to make independent determinations as to limits, restrictions, and maintenance.
Understanding of distractions and other safety related issues that might happen in relations to vehicles.
Ability to interact with the internal and external clients on various related issues.
Language, mathematical, and computer skills.
Interpret government regulations and mandates for reporting purposes.
Proficient Technical writing ability with focus on policy and procedural development.
Technical knowledge, certifications/licenses, and software proficiency required:
Valid driver’s license.Required Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's Degreeis required.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Work involves moving objects by exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or an above-negligible amount and up to 10 pounds constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
