About this role
What will you be responsible for?Newmont is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Lubrication Technician to joinour dynamic Process Maintenance Condition Monitoring Team. This crucial roleinvolves implementing multiple lubrication strategies and industry bestpractices within the high-grade mill. By maximizing equipment longevity andreliability, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Your role will consist ofHere is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:
Safely execute all assigned tasks, adhering to Newmont and site-specificsafety protocols while actively driving safety improvements and fostering aculture of security.Take charge of lubricating process equipment, collecting and analyzing oilsamples, maintaining lubrication systems, controlling contamination, andreducing oil loss, in addition to conducting regular inspections.Manage the lubricant storage area(s) efficiently and oversee lubricantinventory.Collaborate closely with RCM technicians as part of the Condition MonitoringTeam to foster continuous improvement, eliminate defects, and contributeto root cause failure analysis initiatives.Attain and uphold the necessary technical and professional certifications tomeet the demands of the role effectively.Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting technical diagrams, schematics,and procedures.Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems and manualdocumentation.Provide support across various multi-skilled tasks associated with theposition.Ensure compliance with state and federal health and safety regulations,company policies, and environmental compliance policies.**The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature andlevel of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

Qualifications & Experiences:
Prior experience in lubricating fixed plant equipment along with general plantmaintenance and/or operations experience is preferred.Demonstrate a visible commitment to being a safety leader.Proficiency in SAP PM system is desirable.Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.Exposure to condition monitoring methodologies is beneficial.Familiarity with Milling, Screening, Thickening, Conveying, Pumping,and Hydraulic Systems.Capability to comprehend and interpret service manuals.Experience in process plant commissioning would be highly advantageous.Working Conditions & LocationsWhere you will be locatedThe Cripple Creek & Victor (CC&V) Mine site is located at elevationsranging from approximately 9,400 ft. to 10,600 ft. above sea level.Workers in this position can be exposed to various conditions and worklocations throughout this range of elevations and must be physically capableof working at this altitude.Weather conditions change frequently and can become severe at times.Ability to complete work tasks while exposed to weather conditions /elevation.

The salary range offered for this role is $57,360- 68,115. The salaryrange is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. Thesalary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-relatededucation, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not bebased on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmontwill not seek information about salary history, and candidates should notshare such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonusprogram, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of theirsalary based on the company's performance and their own individualperformance.
