Description

We are seeking a HYBRID Fixed Asset Senior Accountant to join our team in HARTSELLE, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing the entire set of books related to fixed assets and will have the ability to guide and oversee junior team members. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid and very flexible work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all fixed asset accounting functions

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to efficiently manage accounting processes

• Implement and manage budget processes related to fixed assets

• Execute capitalization and capital management initiatives

• Carry out fixed asset depreciation and inventory management tasks

• Maintain fixed asset records and ledgers accurately and up-to-date

• Oversee fixed asset management systems to ensure they are functioning optimally

• Ensure compliance with general ledger system requirements

• Guide junior accountants and oversee their work to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Utilize your knowledge of fixed assets to contribute to the overall financial management of the company.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Understanding of Capitalization and Capital Management

• Expertise in Fixed Asset Accounting and Fixed Asset Depreciation

• Experience in Fixed Asset Inventory and Fixed Asset Ledger

• Skills in Fixed Asset Management and maintaining Fixed Asset Records

• Ability to work with Fixed Asset System

• General knowledge of Fixed Assets

• Proficiency in using General Ledger and General Ledger System
