　　Ensure accurate payroll/reporting, purchasing, and accounting systems for the Department.

　　Position Responsibilities

　　Payroll Administration:

　　Administer payroll policies and procedures. Answer questions and resolve problems.

　　Payroll Verification/ Processing:

　　Review payrolls for accuracy and completeness. Answer question of payroll preparers. Enter payroll data in computer system. Validate and distribute.

　　Payroll Reports:

　　Prepare various reports payroll cost allocations.

　　Leave/Overtime Records:

　　Maintain leave and/or overtime records. Monitor and record leave and overtime.

　　Benefit Information Processing:

　　Provide insurance information and assist employees with enrollment/changes. Arrange meetings with insurance providers.

　　Budget Monitoring:

　　Monitor expenditure and revenue patterns.

　　Purchasing:

　　Process purchase requests.

　　Other job related duties as assigned

　　Qualifications

　　High Scool diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of related experience required. Effective communications skills, computer operations, bookkeeping, telephone operations, ability to operate general office equipment, ability to understand and interpret reports knowledge of payroll policies, general office and purchasing procedures are required. Ability to type 25wpm.
