You have a basic technical accounting background and are looking to broaden your experience and knowledge. You make a point to proactively identify roadblocks and pitch in wherever necessary to ensure deadlines are met and clients are satisfied. You get a strong sense of satisfaction from helping the company processes be organized and efficient.
The Position
We are searching for an Accounting Clerk to join our Internal Accounting team. The Accounting Clerk is expected to cover a range of responsibilities for the Internal Accounting Team including but not limited to: bookkeeping, processing A/P and A/R, processing payroll. This position has a clear path for growth and can be a quick launching pad to more senior level positions. Growth depends on technical knowledge, and coachibility.
Responsibilities
Administers all aspects of payroll
Processes A/P and A/R
Handles all inquiries from vendors, clients and employees
Works on special projects, as requested
Reads and understands regulations applicable to client accounting needs
Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrates organizational skills with specific attention to meeting deadlines
Proficient computer skills
Ability to adapt and learn new software products and applications
Ability to work independently and use good time management to handle a variety of duties
Ability to be attentive to detail
Strong communication skills
Preferred Requirements
Skilled with Microsoft Office products
Compensation and Benefits:
Yearly Compensation Starting at $34,000 ( Paid Hourly $16.88, Standard work week of 38.75 hours)
