　　Responsibilities

　　Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.

　　Obtain patient history and performs assessment. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.

　　Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.

　　Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

　　Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

　　Requirements

　　Licensure / Certification / Registration:

　　BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

　　Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

　　Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board Physician Assistants Task Force obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

　　Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

　　Education:

　　Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program required.

　　Master's degree preferred.

　　Work Experience:

　　1 year of experience preferred.Additional Preferences
