Utilizes analytical tools, such as available BusinessIntelligence tools, and methods to perform statistical, quantitative,and qualitative analyses of data in assessing results. Monitors accountsreceivable, billing and collection activities that impact performancemetrics as well as perform environmental and economic analysis offactors affecting reimbursement. Conducts financial impact analysis onnew or proposed rates with third party payers and prepares summaryreports with recommended executive action plans. Creates and evaluatespayer profiles to determine the payers with whom the organization willengage in the rate verification and/or contract negotiation process.Identifies and tracks key reimbursement market influences and preparesrecommendations to address changes in market reimbursement protocols.Assesses various rate methodologies and recommends, as appropriate,changes to current rate structure to enhance recovery of third partyreimbursement. Solves problems encountered in the review, analysis,reconciliation and consolidation of various field station inputsapplicable to collection funds and revenue performance metrics.Participates in preparing briefings for top management officials onissues involving program areas. Designs new or develops modifications toand maintains established computerized reporting systems. Providesmodeling scenarios to enhance billing and collection of third partyrevenue goals incorporating demographic information, eligibility andother priority group assignments or population based information.Performs ongoing assessment and maintenance of data integrity andquality throughout the payer relations data collection to reportingcycle.
