Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Statutory Reporting Subject Matter Expert to join our team in a long-term consulting engagement with a prominent consumer products and pharmaceutical company based in New Jersey. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the International Statutory Reporting processes, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards and leveraging various reporting tools and systems. This contract opportunity would be fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Statutory Reporting Leadership: Lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of International Statutory Reporting processes.
Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to global statutory reporting requirements, staying updated on regulatory changes and providing guidance to ensure compliance.
Reporting Tools Expertise: Utilize and optimize reporting tools, with a specific focus on tools like Workiva, to streamline and improve the efficiency of the statutory reporting process.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains in the International Statutory Reporting function.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in International Statutory Reporting.
Strong proficiency in using reporting tools, with specific experience in Workiva.
In-depth knowledge of global statutory reporting requirements and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in International Statutory Reporting.
