　　Robert Half is in search of a Finance Manager for a role in San Francisco, CA. The Finance Manager will report to the CEO and play an instrumental role in the planning and implementation of the company's internal financial systems. The position will work collaboratively and synergistically with all functions to ensure effective, efficient, and cohesive stewardship of the organization’s finances. The Finance Manager is responsible for building upon and enhancing existing financial systems designed to ensure excellence, accuracy and transparency of reporting to key external partners, including the board of directors, funders and district partners. 　　Essential functions

　　· Generate monthly financial statements (i.e. Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Activities).

　　· Lead month-end close process, to include analysis of grants spending, deferred revenue and temporarily restricted net assets. Prepare analysis of other accounts as required.

　　· Reconcile bank accounts.

　　· Process accounts receivable, to include the recording of cash receipts for donations, earned revenue and other income.

　　· Process accounts payable, to include the recording of vendor invoices and cash disbursements.

　　· Process employee reimbursements and credit card expense reports through Expensify.

　　· Process Payroll via third-party payroll processing firm and record all payroll journal entries on accounting system.

　　· Assign programmatic and funding allocation to all expenditures processed by the organization.

　　· Assist in preparing financial reports required by funders (governmental agencies and foundations).

　　Assist with requests as part of the annual financial audit process.· Assist in annual budgeting process.

　　· Work collaboratively to set up fiscal systems related to earned revenue streams and contract management.

　　· Prepare analyses on grants spending and earned revenue contracts. Follow up with staff on under- and over-spends.

　　· Sort and distribute mail.

　　· Assist with other financial-related projects, as needed.

　　Grant Accounting, Accounting operations, Month End Close

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

　　5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years nonprofit accounting experience

　　QuickBooks Online, Expensify, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office, must be adept MS Excel and Outlook

　　Strong administrative and organizational skills, detail oriented

　　Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

　　Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

　　Comfort and confidence working in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously, and adapt to new inputs or emerging opportunities/needs.
