You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the G-8 DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER . Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations; implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will be providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will formulate budget and cost estimations to support plans and programs, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities, review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing financial management tasks (e.g., formulate budget, cost estimates, and accounting) AND analyzing financial issues to formulate strategies to meet mission goals.
