Robert Half Management Resources offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Financial Data Analyst in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role is focused on implementing and utilizing Power BI to better track financial data for our management team. You will be tasked with creating visualizations, compiling statistical reports, performing financial analysis and modeling, and building KPIs. The role requires strong data management and financial analysis skills, with a proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Create visualizations for management using Tableau to allow for easily accessible financial data

• Compile various statistical reports to aid in financial tracking and analysis

• Perform financial analysis and modeling to support decision making

• Customize reports and build KPIs to meet specific business metrics

• Track business metrics to ensure business performance is aligned with set goals

• Develop insightful, visually compelling, and engaging dashboards that support decision making

• Demonstrate skill at data exploration; transforming and synthesizing data from multiple sources and identifying optimal data structures to support end-state reporting needs

• Maintain a strong, continuous attention to detail on optimizing reporting products to be performant, scalable, and secure

• Act as a dedicated partner to end-users and team members of both functional and technical backgrounds in a fast-paced agile environment

• Communicate clearly and openly, operating with a transparency mindset.

Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Financial Analysis and Data Management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI

• Proven skills in Financial Modeling and Analytics

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data for business improvement

• Comfortable with handling large data sets and able to identify trends

• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

• Strong communication skills to effectively present data findings

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must have a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field

• Prior experience in a similar role or financial sector will be advantageous.
