Description

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting a Senior Accountant for our SaaS client on a 5+month engagement (100% remote). The Sr. Accountant will report directly to the Director of Accounting and will be primarily responsible for the daily accounting operations, reviewing the team's work, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for a strong GAAP accountant with experience reviewing others work.

Responsibilities:

Manage month-end close (8 business days), ensuring monthly close targets are hit and review work of accounting staff - reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation

Prepare the consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP (8 entities)

Perform a monthly flux analysis and respond to internal questions

Ensure accuracy of GL coding (A/R, A/P, Revenue)

Requirements

6+ years of accounting experience

Experience in a SaaS or technology company (plus, not required)

Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting

Proficient in Excel (look-ups, pivots, sum-ifs, nested formulas)

Strong accounting systems experience. (NetSuite - Plus not required)

Able to work in a fast-paced environment, detailed, organized, and able to handle multiple deadlines

Demonstrated ability and motivation to work collaboratively across regions and functions, as well as working independently with minimal oversight
