Description:
Collects and analyzes student data.
Performs monthly account reconciliations of student accounts.
Analyzes and reconciles funding reports in comparison to attendance verification information to ensure timely and complete distributions.
Analyzes metrics related to reimbursement review pipeline to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Supports other members of the accounting team with invoicing and payments.
Interfaces with Manager, Financial Systems and Data, Manager, Program Accounting and Manager, Accounts Payable on various analyses to ensure proper payment of program funds.
Develops understanding of Program Accounting processes to analyze and suggest improvements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
3 + years of finance/accounting/data analysis experience
exposure to large data sets
Experience with ERP systems large systems not quick books
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication to include writing, speaking and active listening.
Advanced Excel skills necessary.
Proven ability to analyze and improve work processes and policies.
Excellent ability to demonstrate a degree of innovation, self-direction and good judgment/critical thinking skills when making decisions.
Works well under pressure; has a professional demeanor; and excellent diligence.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Advanced Excel skills necessary V look ups and Pivot tables minimum
