Company Overview Qardio group (‘the Company’) is active in the personal health care industry and is headquartered in the USA with offices in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Australia, and the Netherlands. Through its R&D department in the Netherlands, the Company develops devices that measure heart health biometrics through a ‘smart health platform’, integrated with doctors and providers. Products are offered B2C through renowned retail channels and B2B through its business partners and, amongst others, consist of smart scales, blood pressure measuring devices, and ECG monitors. Users can opt for Qardio+, a subscription-based health monitoring allowing the user to monitor and share their personal health status with healthcare providers (and family and friends).
At present Qardio group consists of around 30 people and is in its growth stage. Sales are increasing and the focus is shifting from ‘introducing the product to the market’ to ‘efficiency and increasing profit margins’. Despite multi-million annual revenues, Qardio group has a fairly modest headcount and is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller who is not afraid to take on a role that overlaps with ‘Business Controller’ and, to a lesser extent, some operational aspects of the business.
