Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join our client in Irvine. This is a hands-on, onsite role responsible for overseeing all accounting functions and financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in QuickBooks (or similar ERP systems) and a proactive approach to managing the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.

-Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support business decisions.

-Manage month-end and year-end close processes.

-Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning to ensure operational efficiency.

-Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax filings, and audit requirements.

-Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with prior experience in a small business environment preferred.

-Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar ERP systems.

-Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
